DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT The Development Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the fundraising efforts of the organization by supporting donor relations and communications, as well as supporting data management in donor portals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for building and maintaining relationships with donors.

JOB DUTIES Donor Relations:
Assist in developing and implementing strategies for donor stewardship and engagement.
Coordinate donor recognition activities, such as personalized acknowledgments, thank-you letters, and annual reports.
Respond promptly and professionally to donor inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and events with donors and key stakeholders.
Communication:
Assist in creating and implementing communication plans to effectively engage donors.
Draft compelling and persuasive content for fundraising appeals, newsletters, and other donor communications.
Maintain a consistent and timely flow of communications to keep donors informed about the organization's activities and impact.
Collaborate with the Communications Manager to ensure messaging consistency and alignment.
Donor Portals Management:
Regularly update and maintain donor profiles and giving histories.
Identify new opportunities for enrollment in additional charitable giving portals and increase streams of revenue.
Reporting and Analytics:
Generate reports on donor contributions, trends, and other relevant data from the donor portal.
Analyze donor data to identify opportunities for donor engagement and development strategies.
Prepare comprehensive reports for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations.
